Cookie Policy
There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing here that would need one.
Short version
Every cookie this site sets is required to make something you asked for work. We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks.
What we set
- Authentication. Session and refresh cookies that keep you signed in. Set once you sign in; removing them signs you out.
- Campaign attribution. On the Reading Kit page only, a short-lived cookie recording which campaign brought you there, limited to standard UTM parameters and the referring page. It expires within an hour.
- Request confirmation. After you request the kit, a short-lived cookie carrying a masked version of your address so the confirmation page can show it. It expires within fifteen minutes. This exists specifically so that your email address does not have to travel in a URL.
- Appearance. Your light or dark mode choice, stored so the site does not flash the wrong theme on the next page.
What we do not set
- advertising or retargeting cookies;
- cross-site tracking identifiers;
- social network embed cookies;
- cookies containing a download token, a confirmation token, or the contents of a document.
Browser storage
The application may use your browser's local storage for interface preferences — a collapsed panel, a remembered tab. That data stays in your browser, is not sent to us, and losing it costs you nothing but the preference.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in, since there would be no way to remember that you had. The rest can be blocked with no loss beyond the convenience each one provides.
See the Privacy Policy for how the underlying data is handled.
